Common questions about mortgages, protection, and the process

I advise on a wide range of mortgage options, including first-time buyer mortgages, home moves, remortgages, buy-to-let, and specialist cases such as self-employed or contractor applications. Advice is based on your circumstances and available lenders.

Retirement age varies widely from person to person. The big question is whether you’ve got enough saved up to support the lifestyle you’re aiming for, especially since retirement could stretch on for 30 years or longer. Your income during those years will likely come from a mix of sources: retirement accounts and savings, a pension if you have one, brokerage accounts, Social Security payments, annuity income if you’ve set that up, and any other investments you’ve built over time.

I can arrange protection such as life insurance, critical illness cover, and income protection to help safeguard your home, income, and family if something unexpected happens.

Yes. You’ll work directly with me from your initial conversation through to completion, with support from the wider Mortgage Master team where needed.

We do not charge for mortgage advice. If you choose to proceed, an advice fee of up to £999 may be payable for arranging your mortgage. Any fee will be clearly explained and agreed with you before we move forward.
